With modern translation facilities, it is easy to change an article, essay or document from Dutch into English or into any of a variety of languages. That gives us the opportunity to translate part of our website into English. We are making a test with ‘Avontuur Stoutmoedig’, under ‘Training’ on the left site of the opening page. The translation of that article is entitled ‘Adventure Bold’.
Minor elements of the website have always been in English
We will gradually and selectively translate other articles or essays from Dutch into English to cover a wider audience. When in English, we will mark it after the title.
For the translation we have used the facility ‘Deep L’. Only minor corrections were required after the automatic translation.
MededelingMet modern vertaalfaciliteiten, is het makkelijk een artikel essay of ander document van het Nederlands naar het Engels of een andere vreemde taal om te zetten. Dat geeft ons de gelegenheid om een deel van deze website naar het Engels te vertalen. We gaan daar een test mee doen en het Nederlandse ‘Avontuur Stoutmoedig’, onder ‘Training’ links op de openingspagina, in het Engels weer te geven als ‘Adventure Bold’. Enkele elementen van de website stonden al in het Engels.
We gaan in het vervolg selectief andere artikelen of essays van het Nederlands in het Engels omzetten om een groter publiek te kunnen bestrijken. Voor de vertaling hebben we gebruik gemaakt van de vertaalfaciliteit ‘Deep L’. Slechts kleine aanpassingen waren nodig na de automatische vertaling.
